Xiaomi 17 Ultra Features

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Display and Design:

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a 6.9-inch M10 OLED LTPO screen. This phone boasts a peak brightness of 3,500 nits and a variable refresh rate of 1-120 Hz, providing users with a smooth and immersive experience. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It incorporates Xiaomi’s HyperRGB technology, which delivers 2K clarity with lower power consumption compared to typical 1.5K displays.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be available in four color options: Classic Black, White, “Cool Smoke Purple,” and “Starry Green.” All options feature a unique mineral grain texture, further enhancing the phone’s aesthetics.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra includes AI noise reduction, and its upgraded dual stereo speakers deliver clear audio for calls and media. The device is IP66, IP68, and IP69 rated for complete protection against water and dust.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a triple-camera system. While previous Ultra models had a quad-camera setup, this time the company has opted for a triple-camera system, removing the fourth sensor and focusing on using higher-quality sensors. The phone’s sensors come with some of the best features to date, covering a wide range of focal lengths more effectively.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a 50MP 1-inch OmniVision Light Fusion 1050L main sensor, which utilizes LOFIC technology. This new sensor will deliver 6.3 times greater dynamic range compared to its predecessor. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s new sensor will eliminate the “blown-out” highlights issue seen in sunset shots taken with the previous model.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra also comes with the best-in-class 200MP Samsung HPE periscope telephoto sensor. The phone’s periscope telephoto lens will offer users continuous optical zoom between 75mm and 100mm (3.2x to 4.3x), enhancing the photography experience. This sensor is quite large (1/1.4-inch), enabling lossless digital cropping up to 10x and usable zoom up to 120x.

As for the ultra-wide camera, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a new 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor with a 122° field of view, which also functions as a macro lens with a 5cm focus distance.

In terms of Leica Edition features, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone variant may also include a mechanical Master Zoom ring around the camera module. According to Leica, this physical ring will allow photographers to manually control exposure (EV), shutter speed, or focus. This will give users a tactile feel similar to M-series cameras.
